Laura & Luke's Engagement Session at Katherine Legge Memorial Park | Hinsdale, IL | DuPage County
So I have to start this blog with "So Luke and Laura, huh?" Yes, I am showing my age. When I asked Laura about it, she laughed and said she didn't know it was "a thing" until she introduced Luke to a friend of hers and was asked the same question. Growing up (in the 80's) the wedding of Luke and Laura on General Hospital was THE WEDDING of the century on soap opera television. November 16, 1981 (again, showing my age. I was 5, but I STILL remember it!) Laura's dress was all the rage. The girls all wanted to marry Luke. So having the joy of booking this couple, I knew I would NEVER forget their names during my shoot.
When Laura informed me she wanted to have a vintage car in her engagement shoot, I could not wait to see what we would be working with. This Ford classic was amazing to see, and even more exciting to photograph for an engagement session in the Chicago suburbs. They brought their fur baby, Ruby, along, and it was also her birthday, so it made their session extra special to get some pictures with their favorite 4-legged friend.
