Wedding Day Checklist (What to Pack)

Below is just a small list of things to pack for your wedding day. You've got your dress/suit, you packed your overnight bag for after the wedding, what else do you need? Why add to your stress? We've got you covered! These are items that past brides, grooms, bridal party members, and more have asked if we had on hand, or if someone else had with them. We will continue to update this list as we find more items to remember!

Bride


  • Dress with a sturdy hanger
  • Shoes – ceremony & reception
  • Perfume/makeup
  • Vows/gift/letter for your other half
  • Jewelry – earrings, necklace, bracelet(s)
  • Bridesmaids dresses (sturdy hangers for each if you want them all photographed together)
  • Crochet hook (if your dress has buttons down the back
  • Veil/hair accessories
  • Clear nail polish – will stop a run in hose/veil/tulle and lock loose threads
  • Bouquet
  • Something old/new/borrowed/blue
  • Bridemaids gift(s)
  • Parent gift(s)

Groom


  • Suit with sturdy hanger
  • Cufflinks
  • Shoes – ceremony & reception
  • Tie/bow tie/tie pin
  • Watch
  • Handkerchief/pocket square/tissues for yourself and your other half during the ceremony
  • Vows/gift/letter for your other half
  • Groomsmen gift(s)
  • Parent gift(s)

Don't Forget...


  • Invitation/envelope – we recommend mailing us TWO copies of the invite with an envelope inside of a flat large envelope, one less thing for you to remember
  • Clean your rings (engagement and wedding!) This is also a great time to get your engagement ring a good checkup with a professional jeweler.
  • Food – water, snack bars, nuts, juice
  • Sewing kit
  • Bobby pins/safety pins (great for fixing bustles that come loose/break
  • Double-sided tape (holds buttoned shirts closed, also holds bra straps in place)
  • Spot remover pen
  • Vendor tips in pre-marked envelopes to easily distribute later
