Lauren & Thomas' Wedding at Alpine Valley | Elkhorn, WI
Lauren & Thomas tied the knot at Alpine Valley Resort in Elkhorn, WI on June 18th, 2022. I never would have imagined having a wedding there, and it was the perfect setting for their outdoor ceremony!
Lauren was surrounded by her girls in Alpine's renovated bridal suite, while the guys hung out in the couple's suite. First looks were on the list between Lauren and her bridesmaids, Thomas and his mom, Lauren and her parents, and finally between the bride and groom.
The outdoor ceremony was on the lawn between the ski lift and the golf course, and with all the rain leading up to their wedding, it was lush and green. The couple exchanged vows, including their first kiss where a custom step stool had been made just for Lauren to reach Thomas (who is about 2 heads taller than his new wife.)
With having a first look pre-ceremony, it meant they got to enjoy almost all of their cocktail hour before the reception kicked off with toasts from her maid of honor (sister) and his best man. These two definitely are old souls, as they danced to Elvis for their first dance as husband and wife, and it was simply adorable watching him sing to her while they danced.
They continued dancing the night away and posing for pictures with guests, and I am almost certain they crashed hard after a long night of dancing and partying with friends and family.
Congratulations, Lauren & Thomas – with having your dream wedding at a location close to your hearts, and heading to Europe for your honeymoon, I don't know how your return to real life can compare!
