Taylor & Shawn's Wedding | Highland Loft | Elgin, IL
I've always said no two weddings are ever the same. Each couple has its own vision, and every couple has always had their own special touches and surprises on their wedding day. Taylor and Shawn definitely hit every mark with that statement. They hired a trolley to get the family and their bridal party to Walton Island for formals, and it made for such unique photo opportunities. Shawn's best man presented him with a version of the ever-elusive green Master's Jacket as a gift. They had a solo acoustic guitar player not only for their reception but for a quiet intimate session just before they walked down the aisle, surrounded by friends and family in the bridal suite.
The first looks with the bride and dad were exciting and her dad was so happy. The first look between Taylor and Shawn were moving. Shawn never struck me to be the mushy type, but we did see him shed a few tears, and that was totally fine with us! We live for those happy tears! The ring bearer with his new push cart did an amazing job (and stole the show) despite not being trusted to carry the rings. The couple and all their bridal party hit the dancefloor hard most of the night, and continued on long into the evening after we departed.
